Short version: We are a non-profit community club. We only collect your email address to notify you about events. We do not sell your data, run targeted ads, or share your information with third parties.
Who we are
Calgary Social Club (CSC) is a free, non-profit social community for young adults ages 20–26 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are not a registered corporation and we operate entirely on a volunteer basis with no commercial interests.

What we collect
We collect only your email address, and only if you voluntarily provide it by signing up for notifications. This email is stored securely in our database (hosted on Supabase) and is used exclusively to:
- —Notify you when CSC events are announced
- —Send general updates about Calgary Social Club
- —Notify you of the club launch
We will never email you anything unrelated to Calgary Social Club.
Analytics and tracking
We do not run our own analytics beyond what is provided automatically by our hosting platforms:

- —Google Search Console may be used to monitor search performance (keyword impressions, clicks). No personal data is collected via Search Console.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising tools.
Cookies
We use only a single browser localStorage entry (not a cookie) to remember whether you have already seen the email signup popup on this site, so it does not repeatedly show up on every visit. No tracking cookies are set by us.
Data storage and security
Email addresses are stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant and encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not store passwords or any personal data beyond your email address.
Your rights
You may at any time:
- —Request we delete your email address from our records
- —Ask what data we hold about you
- —Unsubscribe from all communications

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the club grows. Any meaningful changes will be communicated via email to registered subscribers.
